News was revealed before that Tamannaah signed for the remake of Bollywood blockbuster, Queen. This film was a big hit in Bollywood. The lead actress Kangana Ranaut has achieved critical acclaim for Queen.
There is latest buzz going on in T Town today about the director of Queen remake. It is said that Queen remake will be shot in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Director Neelakanta will be helming the remake in Telugu and Ramesh Aravind will be directing the remake in Tamil and Kannada.
Actresses Tamannaah will be leading in Telugu version, Kajal in Tamil version, Parul Yadav for Kannada and Manjima Mohan in Malayalam.
But there is an issue raised against the direction of these remakes. There were rumours that Tamannaah and director Neelakanta had some issues and that this film maker is going to be replaced. Recently Tamannaah took the stand to give answer to this rumour. She said, “There is no truth in director being replaced because of me. I have immense respect towards Neelakanta and our film producer has taken some strict decisions for the film to shape out well.”
Even though this was clarified by Tamannaah, still the issue seems to be very fishy. The producers apparently conveyed that Neelakanta will no more be directing the Queen remake. Ramesh Aravind has been asked to helm Telugu and Malayalam as well.
