Hours after popular TV anchor Anasuya appeared in news for allegedly trashing the mobile of a kid in Tarnaka area of Hyderabad, her Twitter account appeared to have been deactivated. Her followers and Twitter users who are trying to search her handle '@anusuyakhasba' are being directed to a screen with message: 'Sorry, that page doesn't exist!'
Although Anasuya did not give out any reason for her exit from Twitter, it will be a big relief from insulators, detractors and social media attackers. Earlier on Tuesday, the popular TV anchor snatched the phone of a kid who tried to click a selfie with her and thrashed it against the floor. Mother of the kid elucidated that episode in a video that is viral on social media and lodged a complaint with police.
Not just Twitter, Anasuya has completely exited from social media- Facebook and Instagram as well. This is being seen as a move to escape criticism from netizens & further attenuate the focus of social-media and bring her back under the radar. But, her absence on social media will make Anasuya inaccessible to her fans.
Earlier last month, noted Television anchor Pradeep also faced similar heat when he's caught in the drunk and drive case. Rumor emerged that Pradeep went underground in order to escape bashing on all public platforms. However, he later released a video bite saying he's shooting for prior commitments.
